Carmen
The story of Carmen will leave you breathless. Based on Bizet’s much-loved opera, the ballet tells the tale of the sultry Carmen, her encounter with the soldier Don José, and his subsequent downfall as he attempts to cage her free spirit.
This World Premiere is choreographed by British choreographer, director, producer and Northern Ballet’s Resident Choreographer Kenneth Tindall, who in 2021 received a double nomination by the British Critics Circle for their National Dance Award. This performance filled with passion, jealousy, drama and all of the spice you’ve come to expect from Carmen is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat!
